Gov. David A. Paterson announced that he will appoint Jon R. Cohen as senior advisor on a broad range of state issues. Cohen is currently managing director of Pricewaterhouse-Coopers LLP for Health Industries Advisory Services.
Before joining Pricewaterhouse-Coopers LLP in 2007, Cohen served for six years as chief medical officer and senior vice president of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. In that role he managed the clinical, educational, research and administrative matters related to all medical affairs for the health system. As CMO, Cohen oversaw several clinical areas and supervised hundreds of officers and employees. He also was chairman of all clinical search committees.See the full content of this document
