N.Y. State Bar Assn. Subcommittee to Review N.Y. Franchise Act

Summary


A subcommittee of the New York State Bar Association's Business Law section has been formed to review, analyze and possibly revise or rewrite the New York Franchise Act of 1981 to better reflect the current franchising landscape.

Thomas M. Pitegoff whose practice includes franchises and franchising, international business and computer law, is the subcommittee chair. The subcommittee was formed by members of the section's Franchise, Distribution and Licensing Committee specifically for this task.
